In June 2024, I had the crazy opportunity to go to Anaheim, California. I visited one of the most influential places on earth: Disneyland! Seeing how 2D drawings in the 50s went on to impact so many lives around the globe, over so many years, was truly inspiring.
The immense beauty of illustration coming to life is the part of life's story that I want to align myself with. In particular one's with a love for healthy families and heartfelt drawings. <3
Seeing Mary Blair's concept work on 'It's a Small World'
come to life was very special for me.
Got to sketch some incredible scenes from the park. Really becoming acquainted with how many details there are!
In November 2024, through my university (Uni of Newcastle), I had the opportunity to go to Singapore on a study tour.
What a rare experience to become a part of a new culture though one that still has the same passions but different way of executing them. This trip was filled with endless learning of new practices, inspiration & positive perspectives to see old challenges through.
In September 2025, I was able to go (again! what!!) to Los Angeles, California. With the incredible opportunity to visit the Disney Animation Studio in Burbank. (Thanks, Jeff!)
It felt incredibly special to see where some of the most influential animated movies have been created.
